Tony Orlando Santiago Rodriguez, 44, of Preston, Idaho, unexpectedly passed away on December 16, 2025, at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Tony was born on April 15, 1981, in Ogden, Utah, to Orlando Valentine Rodriguez and Veronica Gallegos. Tony lived with intensity and adventure. Known for his strong personality, sharp humor, big heart, and also loved to dance. Tony left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his spouse, Jamie Rodriguez , his mother Veronica Gallegos and stepfather Hilario Alvarez , his sisters, Annmarie (Michael) Colunga, Lillian (Alberto) Florez, and Jadzia Card; his stepbrother, Roberto Alvarez; and his niece, Latisha Sanchez who was raised alongside him by his mother and was more like a sister than a niece.

He is also survived by his children, Preston Leathers, Gabriel Morgan, Daemian Avalos, Nico Vasquez Rodriguez, Gavin (Jewel) Ficklin and Cruz Saucedo; Grandchildren Elias Leathers and Douglas Ficklin. Tony is further survived by 9 nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Orlando Rodriguez; his stepsister, Andrea Card; and his great-nephew, Bryken Simmons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at the Red Rose Funeral Home, 56 S State Street, Preston, ID. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services also at the funeral home.
