Tamera Johnson

Tamera Price Johnson (Tam), 80, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Tam was born in Tremonton, UT, on January 24, 1945, to Ed Price and Laura Wright, and was the youngest of nine children. On April 18, 1966, she married her forever sweetheart, Joseph Buttars Johnson.

Tam was a talented artist who found joy in painting and ceramics. She owned and operated TJ Ceramics, where she not only ran the business but also taught classes. In 1997, Tam and Joe purchased property in Cub River, Idaho. Later that year, Tam survived a serious injury that led to ongoing health challenges for the rest of her life. Despite these challenges, she cherished camping, hunting, and family outings, and kept herself busy with scrapbooking, card games, and participating in church events like Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

Tam is survived by her husband, Joseph B. Johnson, her children Tim (Ruth) Lindsay and Teresa (Mike) Park, her sister Deb Christensen, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, three children, and two grandchildren.

The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Franklin County Medical Center for their care and support. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11 am at the Preston South Stake Center, 55 East 1st South in Preston, Idaho. Friends may visit on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Red Rose Funeral Home, 56 S State Street, Preston, Idaho, and on Friday from 10 to 11 am at the church. Interment will take place at approximately 3 pm in Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
