Obituary

On January 25, 2026, Scott B. Hall left this world for a better place. A place where no Tee-times are required, no lift lines, no hunting licenses and most importantly no traffic!

He was born to Boyd L. Hall and Kathryn Bulloch Hall on October 2, 1953 in Logan, Utah. He graduated from Logan High School in 1971 and went on to graduate from Utah State University in 1976 where he became a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. It was here that he gained his real education and met several of his lifelong friends. However, the friends closest to him (referred to as the Fab Four) were Paul "Pink" Nelson, Doug "Moo" Richards, Bill "Billy" Nighswonger, and Rod "Rodney" Hunter. This group spent long hours on road trips, lunches, and at Moo's cabin learning how to swindle each other's money over a good or bad poker hand.

In 1975 he married Kathie Maughan and in 1980 they had their first child Michelle Lyn "Shelley" Hall and in 1982 they had their second child Andrew Scott "Scottie" Hall. Both who reside in Cache Valley with families of their own.

In 1985 he married Brenda Lundgreen whom he later divorced. He has what he considers his second son, Aaron, from that marriage, whom he hung out with regularly.

Then in February of 2006 he married the love of his life, Joyce Goodsell to whom he was currently married. They have been on several adventures including a category five hurricane in Hurricane Wilma while visiting Cancun, Mexico. She has been his best medicine. Joyce thank you for all you have done. Joyce has three children, Chad, Shaun and Jamie, all of which have treated Scott with honor and respect. Thank you for all your support.

Scott has one brother Doug, whom he considers his own personal hero! The person he looked up to the most. God Bless you Doug for your wisdom and strength.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 4:oo PM on Friday January 30, 2026 at the Logan River Golf Course Club House, located at 550 W 1000 S, Logan, UT 84321.  A social time will follow for family and friends.

Scott's family would like to thank Dr. Chambers, Logan Regions Hospital and the wonderful people of Sunshine Terrace for the love and care he has received while there. We also ask that everyone come as you are and dress in comfortable attire for the Celebration.
