In Loving Memory of Robert Griffeth Hendrickson
July 9, 1960 – June 28, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Robert Griffeth Hendrickson passed away on June 28, 2025, surrounded by family and love.
Robert was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and brother-in-law. He dedicated his entire life to serving others, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or a warm shoulder. A true giver in every sense of the word, he had the biggest heart of anyone we’ve ever known.
On July 17, 1992, Robert was sealed to his sweetheart, Deb Hendrickson, in the Los Angeles Temple, beginning a beautiful eternal journey together. With love, faith, and patience, they blended their family of eight children into one, united by commitment and compassion.
He showed us the value of hard work, the joy of the outdoors, and the importance of family. From adventurous rides to fun-filled trips, Robert filled our lives with memories we’ll carry forever. The grandkids will miss him most — their hero, their playmate, their steady hand.
Robert was the brightest, most comforting presence in every room. His love was generous, his life was full, and his legacy will live on in all of us. Now, after a lifetime of giving, it’s time for him to rest.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deb Hendrickson; their eight children; both of his parents; 33 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and four sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him deeply.
We will gather to honor and celebrate his life at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Dayton LDS Ward Building, located at 825 N. Westside Hwy. A viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the church, immediately preceding the services. There will be a live stream of the funeral services available for those unable to attend in person. Please follow this link. CLICK HERE
