Rhonda Lee (Brown) Rainey
December 6th, 1946 - May 31st, 2024
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Rhonda Rainey, passed away on May 31st, 2024, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rhonda assumed many roles during her time on this earth - Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, Professional Artist, Musician, Actress, Beauty Queen, Creator, and most of all, Teacher. As a teacher by profession, she influenced many people and taught them to find the beauty in all things. Her attention to detail was unique - " Do you see that face in the clouds” and "The pattern in this leaf is so interesting” were some of her many observations.
She loved art and created many masterpieces. Someone once asked, What makes a work a masterpiece? She replied, "This becomes a complicated issue because tastes and attitudes change. Simply put, a masterpiece is any work of art that carries a surplus of meaning." Rhonda meant a lot to so many people - she was one of God's masterpieces.
She will be missed.
