Randal Eugene Whittingslow-Brin, 61, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on November 16, 2025, at Bingham Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 5, 1964, in Long Beach, California. A devoted long-haul truck driver, which he loved doing, Randal built a career defined by reliability, hard work, and pride in his craft.
Randal attended Preston High School. Known throughout his life for his strong work ethic and perseverance. Randal loved to play music on his many harmonicas. He taught himself to cut raw Opal stone and made beautiful Opal jewelry. He handmade the machines he used to produce them.
He was the cherished son of Nelda Kay and Robert Zanine of Downey, Idaho. Randal is survived by his siblings, Margaret Seal and Robert Brin, as well as his children: Randal Whittingslow, Shalie Whittingslow, and Ronald Whittingslow. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Whittingslow.
His presence will be profoundly missed.
