We lost our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Ramona, whose kindness and genuine care touched everyone who met her.
On Tuesday, November 20, 2024, Ramona K Jorgensen, 83, passed away peacefully of natural causes. She had been married to Ivan M Jorgensen for 66 years, and her passing was bittersweet; she did not want to leave him.
Born on June 6, 1941, in Goodell, Iowa, Ramona lived in Iowa until the 6th grade before moving to Utah. She married Ivan M Jorgensen on January 14 th 1958 and quit school to start a family. Micheal D Jorgensen was born in September, with Pamala A Craw to follow 3 years later. She finished schooling and got a business degree in farm management from Idaho State. She worked serval jobs, the longest being at Presto Products in the quality department, and had many close friends even after she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her granddaughter, Randee Sue Craw. She is survived by Loving husband Ivan M Jorgensen, cherished mother to Micheal D Jorgensen (wife Jenn), Pamala A Craw (Husband Jeff), and adored grandmother to Brandon Jorgensen (wife Camille), Brent Jorgensen (wife Clover), Darren Jorgensen (wife Megan) Allie L Jorgensen (husband Samual), and 12 great grandkids, who will forever cherish the love and lessons Ramona shared so freely. Though her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, her spirit of kindness will remain a guiding light.
Romona lived a life filled with compassion and quiet strength. Whether offering a shoulder to lean on or a word of encouragement, they brought comfort and light to those around her. Ramona loved needlework, crocheting, quilting, cooking Grandpa’s desserts, researching family history, road trips with girlfriends, and found joy in sharing life’s simple moments with loved ones.
Ramona had a gift for truly listening, making everyone feel valued and understood. Her warmth and thoughtfulness created a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her memory, donations may be made to the Meals on Wheels program @ Franklin Co. Senior/Community Center to continue her legacy of care.
At her request, private family services are being conducted with interment in the Richmond, Utah Cemetery.
Farewell. Her compassion and presence will live on in the lives she touched. Please leave a tribute on this page to share a favorite memory of Ramona or offer condolences to the family.
