Obituary

Nelda Kay Zanine, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 12, 2026, at her home in Downey, Idaho, following an extended illness bravely fought. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.

Born on September 6, 1943, in Logan, Utah, Kay was a vibrant presence with a heart full of kindness. She worked for many years as a factory worker at Del Monte‘s in Franklin, Idaho, and Pepperidge Farm in Richmond, Utah, also as a Receptionist in the automotive industry and Logan Utah. She earned respect from coworkers for her work ethic.

Kay was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her spiritual commitment enriched her journey and provided strength and comfort during both joyful and challenging times.

Surviving Kay are her devoted husband, Robert Zanine; her loving daughter, Carmen Seal; and her devoted son, Robert Brin. She was also survived by step children: Shane Robertson and Sharee Gloria. They loved her very much! She was also a proud grandmother and great grandmother leaving behind a lineage of love and support. Her family will miss her beyond words, but they find solace in knowing that she is now at peace and in eternal joy.

Preceding Kay in death were her parents, Alonzo Leslie and Helen Margot Kjøbek Seamons, as well as her son Randal Brin. Their memories will be honored in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
