Mark Daniel Murphey

Mark Daniel Murphey, aged 61, peacefully returned to his creator on August 2, 2025, at his home in Malad, with his devoted wife, Bonnie, by his side. Born on October 20, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa, Mark began his journey in the United States Air Force before finding his passion as a skilled welder, with a special love for working with copper.

Mark was a man cherished by many and disliked by a few, but he always lived true to himself. His marriage to Bonnie on February 4, 2020, was a union rooted in deep, visible love—he loved her loudly and made sure everyone knew just how much she meant to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie; four daughters; stepchildren; several grandchildren; and his faithful four-legged companion and bestest girl, Bella.
