Janis C. Fryer was born on April 5, 1952, in Preston, Idaho, and passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones, in Preston on October 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her family more than anything. She was married to Steven B. Fryer and was the proud mother of Brady Henderson (Shoni) and Kelley Howell (Reese). Her beloved grandchildren were Calvin, Bracken, Tommy, Boston, and Jancy.

Jan was a truly special woman who brought so much love, laughter, and joy to those around her. Her sense of humor stayed with her until the very end, a reflection of the fun-loving person she was. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten by the family and friends who meant everything to her.

GOLFERS PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, that in my 18 holes of life, you helped me stay in bounds and avoid the traps and hazards. Thank you for the pars when I should’ve bogeyed, but mostly, Lord, thank you for inviting me to join your threesome and play eternally on your heavenly course. -Jan
