Ivan Moyes Jorgensen

Ivan M. Jorgensen, age 86, of Preston, Idaho, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, May 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born June 24, 1938, Ivan married his sweetheart Ramona Kaye Jorgensen on January 14, 1958. Over 66 years of marriage, they raised two children—Michael D. Jorgensen and Pamela A. Craw—and built a life marked by love, laughter, and livestock. Ivan was a dedicated farmer who raised red cattle and took great joy in playfully arguing with anyone who dared mention black Angus. He went on scouting trips, rarely missed a Sunday at church, and faithfully fed the cat every night. But perhaps his greatest routine was enjoying Ramona’s homemade desserts. He and Ramona loved taking long drives together, often without a destination—just to enjoy the view and the ride. Preceded in death by his Parents, John Howard Jorgensen, Father, Dorthy Jorgensen, Mother, Older brother, Ray Jorgensen, Sister, Karen Lou Deem, and granddaughter, Randee Sue Craw. Known for his practical jokes, sharp teasing, and fierce frugality. He was as cheap as they come, but his generosity of spirit made him rich in every way that mattered. Ivan will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever quoted for his stories and sharp one-liners by his son Micheal D. Jorgensen (wife Jennifer Jenson), Daughter Pamala A. Craw (husband Jeff T Craw) grandkids Allie L. Jorgensen (husband Sam Jorgensen), Brandon Jorgensen (wife Camille), Brent Jorgensen, Darren Jorgensen (wife Megan) and 12 great grand kids.

Ivan will always be remembered for his hard work, dedication to tasks, and family. He was quick to share a story, joke, or thoughts on life. He lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by all.

As Ivan would say “Keep it between the white lines.”
