Dwayne passed away Monday March 23, 2026 after a long battle with cancer and other ailments.
Dwayne is the youngest of 4 children born to Roger E. Jacobson and Zanetta Jacobson. He is survived by his siblings Elizabeth (Steve) Shattuck, Tricial (Gary) Peterson, Richard Jacobson and 5 nephews and 2 nieces.
Dwayne enjoyed art and drama at Weber High and graduated in 1993, and began working at ADT a home security company. In 1997 he moved to Georgia and started working at a company called Techmore. His computer skills helped him excell at that job. in January of 2006 he moved back to Utah and started working maintenance at the salt Lake Airport on the baggage line, working both with electronics and mechanical he helped keep the conveyors running so that the travelors luggage would arrive with them. In 2013 the airport sold the contract to another company and Dwayne took that oppurtunity to go back to school to learn more about computers. He did very well and even took second place in a state competion. After earning his degree he landed a job with NetCuras where he worked untill just before his passing.
Services will be graveside Saturday March 28 at 4 pm at the cemetery in Weston Idaho, with a picnic following at the park in Weston.
