Diane Marlene Blanch (née Halsey, Hinze) was born August 20th, 1948 in Escondido California to Wallace Halsey and Juanita Thornburg. She was the youngest of three children, with Larry and Gloria Halsey, her older siblings. Diane is proceeded in death by her husband, Richard Blanch, and survived by her children and their spouses: Janice and Mark Graffius, Josh and Beth Hinze, Sarah Knowles, Steven and Amy Blanch, Jeff Blanch, Devin and Elizabeth Blanch, David and Stephanie Blanch, by her 18 - soon to be 19 - grandchildren and her 3 great-grandchildren.
Diane recently returned home to Cache Valley, where she lived and attended school from the ages of 11 to 18. She was very happy to return home and to reconnect with the friends of her youth and their families.
Diane was a beautiful, vivacious, friendly woman who was passionate about living naturally and cleanly. She was dedicated to her faith and the many friends she made through her church services. She was loved by her family, co-workers, and friends.
A service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Preston North Stake Center located at 310 North State Street in Preston, Idaho, and a celebration of life will be held on January 20th in Austin, Texas.
