Corina K Hilling Schell

Corina K Hilling Schell, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Brigham City, Utah, surrounded by family. Born on July 3, 1959, in Rupert, Idaho, Corina was the second child in a family of six siblings and grew up immersed in the rich, lively experiences of farm life. Alongside her siblings, she enjoyed countless hours of playful adventure swinging on the Tarzan rope, swimming in the local swimming hole, and delighting in the everyday wonders of the farm.

Alongside her sisters, Donetta and Kelly, she embarked on teenage adventures, most notably cruising “main” in their much-loved Bat Mobile, leaving behind a trail of youthful mischief. The skating rink was another favorite with siblings, where many memories were made.

In her career, Corina dedicated many years to baking at Smiths Bakery, crafting sweet delights with care and expertise. Yet, beyond her professional accomplishments, her greatest joy was found within the warmth of her family. To her sons, Heath Jade Schell and Caleb Schell, she was described as "Our Awesome Momma,” whose love and devotion were unwavering. Corina’s love extended to her daughter, Sarah Schell, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Sebastian and Remington, who brought immeasurable happiness to her later years.

She treasured her friendships deeply, especially with her best friend, Nancy Draper, and her younger sister, Kelly. Corina found peace and fulfillment in gardening and crocheting. Toward the end of her life, she came to know the Lord and was ready to go home.

Corina was predeceased by her loving parents, Evelyn Hilling Elquist and Donald Hilling, and is survived by her children Heath Jade, Caleb, Sarah, and her grandchildren, Remington and Sebastian, her brothers, Dondi, Stacy, and Kimberly (Deanna) Hilling, and her sisters, Donetta (Tim) Hayes, and Kelly (Gary) Baugley Bodily, along with several nieces and nephews.

Though she has departed this world, her legacy of devotion to her children and family, and the treasured memories she left behind, will remain forever in our hearts.
