Clark Leneth Weeks, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, in Hyde Park, Utah, surrounded by family and friends. Born August 15, 1938, in Preston, Idaho, Clark’s long and fulfilling life was marked by dedication and a profound commitment to those he loved.

Clark’s early years were spent growing up on a farm. His education took place at Lewiston Elementary and North Cache High School, experiences that shaped his work ethic and lively spirit. Clark embodied the values of hard work and service throughout his varied career, holding positions with the Forest Service and the Lewiston Sugar Factory. He also worked in construction.  For over 25 years, Clark faithfully served as a school bus driver, providing safe transportation to countless children across the valley.

Clark’s skill and dedication as a driver did not go unrecognized. He received awards for safest driver, best mileage, and stood out as the best school bus rodeo driver, achievements he took great pride in.

On August 7, 1959, Clark married his sweetheart, Joan Cole, in the Logan LDS Temple. Joan’s passing before him left a tender place in Clark’s heart.

 Clark enjoyed a wide range of hobbies that reflected his deep connection to nature and his community. He was well-known throughout the valley for his skill in reloading ammunition, often sharing stories and forging friendships with clients who became longtime friends. Clark loved spending time outdoors, camping, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. 

Clark is survived by his children: sons Dwain (Sandra) Weeks and Seth Weeks; daughters Myrna (Weldon) Cheney and Bonnie (David) Sweet. grandchildren; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Merlin (Diane) Weeks, his sister Lafaye Reed, and brother-in-law Gerald (Kathy) Cole. 

Clark is preceded in death by his wife, Joan Cole Weeks; his father, Theodore Weeks; his mother, Alice Cole Weeks; his brother, Wayne Walton; his sister, Ardella Weeks; and his brother-in-law, Robert Reed. 

Clark leaves behind a legacy of dedication, skill, and hard work. He will be remembered not just for his accomplishments but for the quiet strength and unwavering loyalty he offered to those he loved.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at FCMC and the staff at Autumn Care.  We also greatly appreciated the care given by his hospice team, especially Brynanne.
