Dear Family and Friends,

It is with broken hearts that we share the news of my sweet husband, Burnell Thorley, who passed away on Thursday, May 21st. As we begin to navigate this difficult loss, we are overwhelmed by the love, prayers, kindness, and support from so many of you. Our family is deeply grateful for every message, visit, prayer, and act of compassion shown during this tender time.

Burnell loved deeply and was loved in return. Family and friends meant everything to him, and the relationships he built throughout his life were among his greatest treasures. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel valued, welcomed, and cared for, and his presence will be missed more than words can express.

We invite you to gather with us to celebrate his beautiful life on September 12th in Fish Haven, Bear Lake, Idaho. More details will be shared as plans are finalized. To honor and preserve Burnell’s memory, we would love to create a remembrance book filled with stories, memories, and photographs from those who knew and loved him. If you would be willing to share a favorite memory, a few words about what Burnell meant to you, or a special photo, it would be such a gift to our family and something we will cherish forever.
