Beth Kendall McCombs was born June 2, 1958, in Preston, Idaho. She passed peacefully on April 8, 2026, surrounded by those she loved, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. Throughout her life, Beth was a vibrant and cherished individual whose warmth and laughter touched everyone she encountered.

Beth graduated from West Side High School and continued her education at Brigham Young University and Bridgerland Technical College. Her career spanned various roles, but she found her greatest joy working at Butterfly Express in Clifton, Idaho. There, she took on multiple responsibilities that contributed to the smooth operation of the company. Above all else, Beth treasured her coworkers, valuing the connections and friendships she built along the way.

A woman of many passions and talents, Beth was never without a project. Whether gardening, horseback riding, camping, fishing, riding motorcycles or constructing everything from small projects to cabins, she embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm. She also delighted in reading a wide array of books and spending quality time with her dear friends and family. Her zest for life and inviting spirit made every gathering a moment to remember.

Beth was especially proud of her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. She is survived by her sons Shane (Amber) McCombs, Shilo (Trista) McCombs, and Dylan (Kirina) Larsen. Her cherished grandchildren, Kelbie, Mayzie, Mace, and Magnuson McCombs, brought her immeasurable joy. Beth is also survived by her siblings, Dirk (Kay), Ron (Wendy), Joan, and Rex (Dixie) Kendall, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family who held her close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Curly” McCombs Jr., her parents Merl and Donna Kendall, and her nephews Jason and Matthew Kendall. Their memories remain a cherished part of her story.

Beth’s genuine kindness, humor, and love for life endeared her to all who knew her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and she will be deeply missed by many. We remember and honor a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought light and laughter to the world around her.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Clifton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 170 W 1st N, Clifton, Idaho. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Red Rose Funeral Home, located at 56 S State Street, Preston, Idaho, and again at the Church on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Smithfield City Cemetery, Smithfield, UT.
